Reese peanut butter cup ice cream is so delicious, and homemade Reese peanut butter cup ice cream is even better! Adding mini Reese cups in there just makes it even better! Nothing worse than not getting enough candy in your ice cream…am I right?
I think I enjoy these mini peanut butter cups more than the regular ones. Only problem with them is I don’t know when to stop! Is there a candy or chocolate that you just can’t stop yourself with?
You will need a ice cream maker for this recipe. Make sure to freeze your bowl for 24 hours.
What you will need:
- 1 and 3/4 cups 35% whipping cream
- 3/4 cup milk
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
- mini peanut butter cups
Combine whipping cream, milk, sugar and peanut butter. For a smoother batter mix, with a blender. Refrigerate for 4 hours.
Add batter to ice cream bowl and churn for 20 minutes or until thickened.
Stir in mini peanut butter cups.
Pour ice cream into a freezer safe container, and top with more mini peanut butter cups. Freeze for one hour before serving. Enjoy!
YUM! My husband has become quite the ice cream fanatic since he got an ice cream maker! He hasn’t made peanut butter ice cream yet, so I am showing him your recipe as soon as he gets home from work!
