Mountain tea grows in abundance in Albania, Macedonia and Greece. I grew up drinking mountain tea its a sweeter tea than chamomile, and tastes and smells wonderful.
Mountain tea or Sideritis has many health benefits as well, so you get to enjoy the taste of your tea while benefiting from it! Oh and did I mention its caffeine free? Yup so you can enjoy a lovely cup of this tea anytime of the day and night!:)
Mountain tea comes in a bag or box. The dry flowers are attached to the stem, all you have to do is break some up , I would say 2 or 4 stems would be enough, depending on how strong you like your tea!
I like to drink a cup in the evening to help me unwind, and relax…its a natural anti- inflammatory as well! Before reaching for a OTC, I drink a cup of mountain tea when I get a headache or muscle ache, it really does help! Oh its helps fight off a cold too! Don’t ask my why or how…it just does;)
