I love tender meat and the best cut is fillet mignon. Depending on how much meat you use, you will have to marinate accordingly.
For 5-1/2 inch pieces I used
- 2 tsp Montreal steak spice
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 garlic salt
- 1tsp Greek seasoning
- 2 bell peppers
- 1 container mushrooms
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Let steak marinate for a few hours. I like to pan fry my steak. Heat pan add 2 tbsp olive oil and 2 tsp of butter, when hot add meat cook how you like your steak I like mine medium rare.
After you take out the steak add the peppers and mushrooms, it cooks in all that flavour from the steak and seasonings and has left over grease from the steak, no need to add more.
