My daughter is having a Heritage day Party in class today, and she volunteered cupcakes! I was happy to hear that, I wasn’t really in the mood to make baklava or anything that took a lot of time or effort. I was happy about the cupcakes, because unlike making traditional foods or treats, you can be creative and design it in any way you want! As you know I don’t share recipes for my cakes or cupcakes, however I do share my tips and hope to inspire others with my decorating ideas.
I have an awesome tip for pouring out batter into the cupcake liners, this only works for thin batters not thick ones. If you have Tupperware cups or Rubbermaid bottles with lids, fill them and cover with lid. It’s so easy to work with and gives you a perfect amount of batter.
For the snowflakes, I recommend candy melts, they are meant to harden when left out, I didn’t have any so I used white chocolate.
The problem is with white chocolate that as soon as you take it out of the fridge, it starts to melt!
I used a 1M tip for the buttercream, and medium cupcake liners.
I love them all, but I just fell in love when I saw those s'mores one when you brought them. It's the way they look @ me (come, eat us) or the way I look @ them (here I come to bite u) either way I love the way you do the icing, it's so cool.
