If you have extra chocolate bars in the cupboard this is the perfect recipe for you! Grating the chocolate and adding it to the dough gives it more of a chocolate taste and looks like a bakery kind of cookie.
What you will need:
- 2 cups and a 1/4 cup all purpose flour minus 1 tsp
- 1 cup partially softened unsalted butter
- 3/4 packed dark brown sugar
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp corn starch
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 and 1/2 cups semi sweet chocolate chunks or chips
- 1/2 cup grated dark chocolate
Beat the butter and sugars until fluffy and creamy. Add the eggs one at a time. Sift the flours, salt, baking soda and corn starch together. Mix into the butter mixture until well combined. Add in the grated chocolate mix in and then stir in the chocolate chunks.
Drop tablespoon full of cookie dough on parchment lined baking sheet 2 inches apart. Bake at 350 for 10- 12 mins. Remove from pan onto cooling rack. Enjoy.
These cookies look so scrumptious!
