I had about a cup worth of strawberries left from the season, I did make a cobbler last night with strawberries and rhubarb and what was left of the strawberries I decided to bake something instead of freezing the rest! I did get to make some freezer jam with the other quarts of strawberries and that is what I used in these swirls, that is why the jam is noticeably fresh and bright.
I had hoped to make these with ricotta but didn’t have any and was not leaving the house in this weather. I did have cream cheese and so I thought it work and I was right, it did work and tasted great!
