Made these cupcakes with Sponge Bob wrappers, the theme was sand and sea. For the ‘sand’ I coloured the icing tan and sprinkled it with graham cracker crumbs and for the ‘water’ I coloured them blue!
I got some fish and lego candies, I also got some umbrella toothpicks and just put them all together. Looks nice and summer-y! If you want you can use plain white wrappers as I did for the ones in the pail.
If you want to give them away for a gift as I did in this photo, fill a pail with something heavy I used sea shells from the dollar store, you can you use rocks as well. Then get a styrofoam ball that is big enough to fit in the pail. Poke 4 toothpicks in the ball and place cupcake in it. Make sure tooth pick is inside the cupcake so it doesn’t fall.
Decorate and fill the empty spots as desired. You can use tissue paper, candy, I didn’t have any so I improvised! Make sure when transporting you have help! In my experience with cupcake bouquets they have the tenancy to fall apart…it could just be me though! 😉 No really have someone help to hold them in the car and when delivering them!
Garden Checkpea Salad is my favorite, the recipes are awesome too!!
