Continuing in our series of weekly meal planning, I picked another group of our favourites. Hope you enjoy the this weeks meal plan. It is a variety of foods that I think your family will enjoy! I will be posting meals plans on Fridays to give you the weekend to prepare and shop for ingredients.
Monday – Pineapple Chicken
Tuesday – Layered Steak Dinner
Wednesday – Flat Green Bean Stew – Vegetarian
Thursday – Penne with Blush Sauce – Vegetarian
Friday- Spinach and Rice – Can be made with or without meat
Saturday- Fish Biryani
Sunday – Eggplant Lasagna – Can be made with or without meat
Any day dessert- Slow Cooker Rice Pudding
Lets start the week off with this tasty and easy dinner, pineapple chicken! Make some plain rice on the side and you have a quick and delicious dinner!

This layered steak dinner is a favourite among my friends, ever since I first posted this recipe on a group of mine on Facebook in 2008! It is still the one dish I get compliments on over and over again! Makes a delicious and quick weeknight dinner! Oh and did I mention all of this is cooked in one pan?

Next up a quick and easy dinner, vegetarian style green bean stew. I use flat beans for this but you can use regular green beans. You can serve this with yogurt on the side, with rice or a fresh loaf of bread.
Penne with blush sauce is one of my favourite weeknight dinners, it is easy and quick to make and it tastes amazing! If you have any leftover bread, you can make some garlic bread on the side!

For Fridays menu we have my girls favourite spinach and rice! Another easy recipe for the end of the week, healthy one too! We love this with plain yogurt, mmm so good!

If you haven’t made biryani before, this is the perfect time to start! Fish biryani is the easiest biryani to make, you can actually get away with making it on a weekday! Salmon goes great with this, but you can use any boneless fish you have.

For Sunday nights dinner I chose my kids favourite imam bayildi, we like to call it eggplant lasagna! It is very tasty and perfect for Sunday supper. Frying the eggplant makes it more flavourful, but baking it is more healthy, you can do which ever you prefer. If I am cooking for guests I like to fry it as it tastes so much better, but if its just for us I bake it.

For the dessert I picked slow cooker rice pudding, it is easy to make and it is a family favourite of ours.
