We have a variety of dishes for this week! Lots of flavours and for the most part easy to make! All seven meals are one pot or pan meals meaning less clean up! Bonus! This whole week is filled with family favourites, I hope you and your family enjoy them as much as we do!
When meal planning I try to give you a variety of dishes, some are vegetarian others with meat or chicken or fish, a good balance for the week. Since I am still new at this, I could use your input. What are your favourites meals? So far I try to share the easiest and quickest recipes for the weekdays. How else could I help you? What are you looking for in terms of dinner foods? Should I add a dessert to the list?
Weekly Meal Plan

This is a dish I used to make often when the kids were younger; it was easy and quick to make. It goes great with orzo, and is perfect dinner for a hectic Monday!

Next up for Tuesday’s dinner we have cannelloni, which is actually easy! You use the noodles straight from the package and I stuff the filling with a freezer bag so that makes it even easier!

This has got to be the best chili recipe I have ever tried! My daughter Sara who doesn’t eat chili or beans in general actually eats this chili! Perfect dinner for the middle of the week!

Another simple and easy dinner that I used to make for the kids when they were little is this cheesy vegetable chicken casserole. Even picky eaters will love this dish!

For this green bean stew, you just bake it in the oven; simple and delicious! Make a pot of rice as a side and you have another delicious and easy dinner for Friday night!

Saturday night is pizza night! My daughter Dina loves broccoli pizza! If you don’t want to make it with broccoli, you can make it with other veggies, or just make any pizza you like!

For Sunday night, I picked this meatball soup. As a kid, I would get so excited when my mom told me this soup is for dinner. It is simple to make, if you want it to be more filling you can add potatoes or lentils to the soup.
I’m excited to have discovered your blog! I’m an American married to a Turk, so your recipes will definitely help fill in the gaps in my cooking repertoire. I really like the weekly menu feature. Have you thought of highlighting recipes that can easily be batched cooked, and/or freeze well? Or the left overs turned into a different entrée for the week?
