Want to impress your guest? Well this cake will do just that! Its a mixture of cake and tiramisu! Whats not to love? Its one of the best tasting cakes I have ever made!
What you will need:
- White/ Vanilla cake batter 1 box or homemade batter (enough for 3 -9 inch pans)
- 1tsp instant coffee
- 1/4 cup cup coffee
- 1/2 cup icing sugar
- 1- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 2tbsp instant coffee (mix in with 1 tsp water to dissolve)
- 1/4 cup icing sugar
- 2 cups Nutri-Whip or Sweetened Whipped Cream
- 1 pkg mocha wafer rolls
- grated chocolate
Preheat oven to 350.
Grease, and flour pans.
Prepare the cake batter dividing it into three pans. Add the white cake batter into 2 pans, and with the remaining batter mix in the instant coffee that will make for the third pan.
Bake for 20-25 mins or until tooth pick comes out clean.
In the white cakes, poke holes with tooth pick or small skewer and pour coffee over cakes.
Fully cool cakes before frosting.
When layering have the coffee cake layer in the middle.
Prepare filling, mix together the cream cheese and icing sugar and instant coffee till smooth.
Spread into the layers of cake, then ice with the frosting. You may frost the cake completely, and decorate as desired.
