Pumpkin Spice Latte
For years I have added a dash of pumpkin spice in my coffee while its in the filter, so when the coffee is brewing the aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves fill the air, coffee tastes great too! Grew up on lattes not even knowing they were called lattes, mom always called it qumesht me cafe meaning milk with coffee in Albanian, adding the pumpkin is the new addition in my house, obviously I only make it when I have pumpkin puree on hand, which lucky for me is all autumn long.
When making lattes there really isn’t any measuring, its all on how much you want to make, as well as how sweet or how much coffee you like in it. When I make it, I just add ingredients, taste and adjust as I go along till I am satisfied with it.

Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls
I finally did it, I took the time to properly measure the ingredients and wrote it out for you. We love cinnamon rolls, one of my earliest memories is my mom baking cinnamon rolls, she learned to make them as a kid in Sweden. She would add raisins and sometimes walnuts in the filling. …
Apple Cinnamon Rolls
One thing I remember as a kid was in the fall and winter my mom would make her cinnamon rolls….the same ones she grew up making in Sweden.
My Grandfather and I just couldn’t wait for them to get out of the oven and into our mouths! He had diabetes so my mom did not use much sugar, nor iced them…but I loved them just the same!
She would fill hers with raisins and sometimes walnuts….one thing though they would become dry the next day, so with some experimenting on how to keep them from drying out and staying soft….I figured it out! The secret is yogurt!…

Cinnamon Twists
I had left over pizza dough, I normally don’t add much salt in my dough, so I got away with making these! I took some of the dough, rolled it out 1/4 inch thick, and the size of a small/medium pizza. I tried my best to shape it into a square rather than circle shape….
Dutch Apple Pie
My mom lived in Holland for 7 years and 7 years in Sweden as a kid, and while she lived there she learned how to make Dutch apple pie. In Sweden they don’t use crust, its more like apple crisp here in North America, and that is just how she has always made it, without crust. I actually prefer that way, but at times I like to make a crust, I share the recipe for the crust in the bottom of the post.
I don’t think I can never make mine like hers, no matter how many times I try…but that doesn’t stop me from making it!!:) Even though she says mine taste just like hers, I will always like hers better!:) Is there a recipe that you make that you think your mom or someone else makes better?
