Spicy and delicious, the chicken is so moist and tasty! This is the perfect fall dish, serve with basmati rice and some salad or cucumber yogurt sauce to cool your palate.
What you will need:
- 6-8 pieces of chicken
- 2 green onions chopped
- 2 small carrots shredded
- 2 tbsp grated ginger
- 2 cloves of garlic grated
- 1 celery stick chopped
- 2 tbsp plain yogurt
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp curry powder
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 2 heaping tbsp tandoori chicken spice (if you like it more spicy add 3 tbsp)
Mix all ingredients in slow cooker and cover with lid, cook on high for 5 hours.
The chicken is tender and moist falls right off the bone.
