Ok so I made a no bake cheese cake, I really like my cheese cake light, although if you like a baked cheesecake , just decorate it the same.
This is what I used:
- 2 Philadelphia cream cheese softened
- 1 cup and a half cool whip for mixture
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup cool whip for topping
- 1/2 can strawberry pie filling
Chocolate covered strawberries:
- 1 container fresh strawberries
- 1 cup melted chocolate chips
- Crust:
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup melted butter
In a springform pan grease bottom and sides with butter, or non stick spray.
Combine melted butter, 1/4 cup sugar and graham cracker crumbs and form into crust in the bottom of pan.
In mixing bowl beat cream cheese until creamy and smooth, add sugar beat till blended.
Fold in cool whip, pour filling over the crust.
Refrigerate for 4 hours or until set.
Before serving top with 1 cup cool whip spread over top, spoon over the strawberry pie filling.
I had extra buttercream so I piped it over the edges, you could just pipe with cool whip.
Melt chocolate chips for 1 min until melted stir with a spoon until smooth. Dip strawberry’s place on wax paper and chill for 10 mins till chocolate is set.
Garnish cake with strawberries
Tip* Pat dry the strawberries if they have any wetness from water, the chocolate wont stick if they are wet!
*You can use cherry pie filling if you like!
