This is a traditional Mediterranean breakfast, lunch or snack during the day. Healthy and tasty, paired with fresh bread and tea or coffee.
Sitting at the table with family enjoying your time, conversing with one another, eating good food is something that is simple, you don’t need to leave the house for a good time, nor do you need to break the bank! These ingredients are affordable and enjoyable and most importantly good for you!
What you will need:
- Feta or Kashkavel*
- Yogurt spread such as labne*
- Boiled eggs
- Ajvar ajvar (veggie dip)
You can combine and add anything to the plate, if I have peppers I pan fry or grill them and mix them with feta. Just use what you have in the kitchen and make a nice presentation….makes the kids excited to pick out their favourite things…and to try new ones!
*labne is a spreadable yogurt cream cheese
