I cannot believe I haven’t shared this with you yet. I haven’t posted anything new as I have been so busy; I never got the chance to come up with something new to share. I have so many recipes with photos and write ups that need editing, and updating that sometimes I forget that I didn’t post anything new. As I was looking through my posts, I didn’t see this…so I am finally sharing this delightful dessert with you!
I learned this from a old friend of mine, Shamila. She lived on my street many years ago and made it every time we got together. She is an amazing cook, and taught me many dishes, including this delicious and addicting dessert.
It is so simple and easy to make too!
What you will need:
- 1 L tub of thawed cool whip
- 1- 30 oz can of mango pulp
- 1- 796 ml can of fruit cocktail such as very cherry
Drain fruit cocktail, and pat down with paper towel. In a large bowl, whisk the cool whip and mango pulp together until well combined. Be careful not to over whisk. Fold in the fruit cocktail.
Refrigerate for a few hours before serving.
You may serve this in a large bowl or individual bowls, and garnish with any fresh fruit. Enjoy!
