I am actually out of ideas at the moment so I thought I would make a post about all my favourite holiday desserts! I love to bake for family and friends, many of these recipes can be given away as gifts which makes it even better!
Since cranberries and oranges are in season I have two recipes that are perfect to bake this time of year!
First up we have my most popular post, Orange Cranberry Loaf Cake. You can bake these in small loaf pans and give them away as gifts.

Next up we have these beautiful cranberry orange mandeleine cookies. These are great cookies to make for when guests are coming over, they look so fancy but are so easy to make!

Next two recipes are childhood favourite treats, chocolate macaroons and thumbprint cookies.
The chocolate macaroons are no bake and so easy to make; they freeze great too!

Make these cookies with homemade jam, they are so much yummier although a good quality store bought jam will do wonderfully as well.

Elma kurabiye or apple filled cookies are my kids’ favourite cookies, I don’t make them often so when I do you can imagine how happy everyone is! The powder sugar makes these cookies look festive!

Another festive looking dessert is this etimek tatlisi made with melba toast! This is a delicious traditional Turkish dessert that looks fancy but is so easy to make!

Traditionally these peach cookies are made for special occasions. These are fun to make with the kids, the colouring of the sugar and dipping the cookies and seeing the turn into a fruit is exciting for them; great for making memories in the kitchen.
