Pastry cream or custard:
- 1 1/4 cups (300 ml) milk or half and half
- 1/2 vanilla bean, split lengthwise or 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 large egg yolks
- 6 tbsp granulated white sugar
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
In a medium size sauce pan, add the sugar, flour, eggs and milk or half and half, stir and cook on medium heat.
Constantly stirring till thickened .
Remove from heat stir in vanilla, now to put all together, take baked shells, fill with custard.
Place on top the fresh fruit, drizzle with the glaze.
