My son loves custard and blueberries, so I made this dessert especially for him!
What you will need:
- 5 tbsp Birds custard powder
- 5tbsp sugar
- 3 cups milk
- graham cracker crumbs for bottom of dessert bowls optional about 2 tbsp for each bowl
Mix custard powder, sugar and milk in a pot and cook on low- medium heat, constantly stirring till thickens.
Remove from heat let cool, till ready to serve. Pour some in a dessert bowl, top with some blueberries, cover with a bit more custard. Top room temp custard with whip cream and top with blueberries serve right away.
If not eating at room temp, and your cooling it in fridge, top with whip cream before serving so that it does not melt.
You can make this in one serving dish and layer it like a trifle, starting with the graham cracker crumbs, then 1 layer custard, 1 layer blueberries, another layer custard, another layer blueberries then top with whip cream.
