My daughter Dina loves chicken parmesan, actually all my kids love it! It is an easy recipe, and it tastes delicious. Serve it with pasta and salad on the side and you have yourself an amazing dinner.
What you will need:
- 4-6 skinless boneless chicken breast
- Italian seasoned bread crumbs
- 1 jar or can spaghetti sauce
- 1 egg + 1/4 cup milk + more if need be, or plain yogurt
- mozzarella cheese
- grated parmesan or romano cheese
Two methods,
You can use plain yogurt or egg wash before breading. Yogurt makes it really moist, but I also make it with egg wash, depends on my mood.
Cut chicken breasts in half to make it flat. Season chicken with salt, then dip chicken in yogurt or egg wash, cover with bread crumbs on both sides.
Line baking sheet with foil wrap or parchment paper. Drop generous spoonfuls of sauce in the baking pan , add chicken pieces over sauce, I like to drizzle some olive oil over the chicken so it is not dry. Spoon over more sauce on top of each piece of chicken. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top of chicken, and the grated parmesan or romano cheese. Bake uncovered in oven at 350 for 45 minutes, or until chicken is fully cooked, depends on the thickness of your chicken breast. Enjoy!
