Looking for a easy no bake dessert that will satisfy your sweet tooth? I got the perfect recipe for you! Smells amazing and tastes great too!
These were a hit with all, and they are so easy to make! At first I couldn’t decide if I was going to make them with white chocolate or butterscotch or even chocolate. Then my daughter Sara told me to go with butterscotch, well, because she absolutely loves butterscotch and anything caramel…actually all my kids do!
So butterscotch it was, and I am glad I listened. They turned out amazing! My mom fell in love with the smell of them even though she didn’t eat any haha!
So for the recipe you simply need butterscotch chips, marshmallows and peanut butter! That’s it; three simple ingredients!
Again thanks to the wonderful ladies at the thedatepalm.com for the marshmallows!
What you will need:
- 1- 300 gr bag of butterscotch chips
- 1- 300 gr bag of mini marshmallows
- 3 tbsp peanut butter
In a double broiler melt the butterscotch chips. Once the chips have melted, add in the peanut butter and blend until peanut butter is softened and combined into the chips. Of course you can do this in a microwave, but I don’t have one.
In a large mixing bowl, combine marshmallows and the melted butterscotch mixture together. Line a 13 x 9 pan with wax paper and pour the mixture in. Refrigerate for 15 minutes to set. Serve and enjoy! I like to keep the extra in the fridge, but you can leave it out if you like.
