I had a Fan Fav Party on my FB fan page, and this was the fan fav from jazzygourmetblog. As soon as my son saw this, he asked if I could make it, and so today I finally did it!
It turned out delicious, the whole family loved it! It is a dessert that takes time to make, so start off early so that it will be ready for dessert;)
After I baked the crust, I made the pudding by adding all the pudding ingredients in a 2 qt pot and cooked it on low heat, I then poured it over the crust, I let it cool till room temperature, and then let it cool in the fridge for 1/2 hour, meanwhile I made the cream cheese filling and blueberry topping.
I sliced all the bananas and added them to a bowl and poured over some fresh lemon juice, to prevent browning.
Next I layered the cream cheese filling, put it back in the fridge, then after the blueberry topping cooled, I spooned it over and let it cool in the fridge for another few hours, it was ready to cut into! It was so delicious! Well worth all the effort! For recipe follow this link banana-blueberry-bliss. Thank you Sherry for a wonderful dessert!
Wow, I am so thrilled that you made my Bliss! You are right, it is time consuming, and especially hard not to dig right into it after it is made, but worth the effort. I cannot thank you enough for going to that effort!
